Thiscircular fixture features 9 slots for holding standard terminal shanksizes from 0.8mm (1/32 in) to 6mm (1/4 in). The bottom grip has aneccentrically mounted, self tightening knurled roller.

Applications
Usedfor testing the break resistance of terminal shanks and wire. Thespecimen is pulled to break and the relationship recorded between forceat break and extension. The test also determines other mechanicalproperties including:
